In Michoacán, they dismantle clandestine camp and seize weapons
In Michoacán, members of the National Guard (GN), in response to a citizen complaint, located a clandestine camp allegedly used by organized crime.
During deterrence, crime prevention and social proximity tours in the municipality of Copándaro de Galeana, the national guards were alerted by a citizen about the presence of armed people in the town of Santa Rita, in the same municipality.
The elements of the institution moved to the place and as they advanced along a dirt road they saw several tents on the slopes of a hill from a distance, which is why they carried out an inspection at the site.
After searching the area, National Guard personnel discovered that the following were found inside the tents:
· 3 firearms.
· 3 tactical vests.
· 3 helmets.
· 5 metal chargers.
· 125 useful cartridges.
· 14 bags with green, dry grass with characteristics of marijuana.
· 100 doses of apparent synthetic crystal drug.
The war material was made available to the Federal Public Ministry Agency in the entity, to continue the corresponding investigations.
