IMSS will rehabilitate Maternal and Child Hospital in Campeche
With the aim of achieving the rehabilitation and start-up of the Maternal and child Hospital In Ciudad del Carmen, the H. Technical Council of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) approved the donation of said property offered by the government of Campeche.

Therefore, the institute committed that within a maximum period of one year, the medical unit will be improved with the installation of 92 hospital beds on a property of more than 11 thousand square meters, for the benefit of the region's rights.
In this regard, the general director of the IMSS, Zoe Robledopointed out that in addition to strengthening hospital coverage, savings will be generated due to the reduction in costs involved in identifying a new land, seeking the donation and making the project executive and complete.
It would have perhaps even doubled the cost of a 92-bed hospital in an area where our hospital is very saturated,” he indicated.
Robledo Aburtoadded that throughout the country there are still many cases of hospitals that were financed by popular insurance, which ran out of resources, despite having been programmed, and ultimately remained unfinished.
