The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, sent a video message from the National Palace where he said he felt “pretty good” after catching COVID-19 for the second time.

In the message that was transmitted in his usual morning conference, now headed by the Secretary of the Interior, Adán Augusto López, the Mexican president assured that after his new contagion he will continue working because he has “the will to live.”

“I will continue working, if there are people I will put on the mask, if not, as I am doing now but I will continue in my work but remember that the most important thing is not to beat yourself here, and we are going forward and we have as protection the creator, science, and also the will to live to carry out the transformation of Mexico, I send you a hug, “he said.

Andrés Manuel López Obrador asked Mexicans not to be frightened by the new Omicron variant and gave his case as an example after measuring the temperature and its oxygenation levels.
