CHICAGO, June 15, 2023: Hyundai's award-winning all-electric IONIQ 6 has been named Favorite Plug-in Vehicle by the Midwest Automotive Media Association (MAMA) at the organization's recent Spring Rally event in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin .
The IONIQ 6 stood out for its striking design, intuitive connectivity features, and spacious interior. More than 100 vehicles were evaluated in the driving program by MAMA members. "The IONIQ 6 continues to impress with its compelling exterior and interior design features," said Ricky Lao, director of product planning, Hyundai Motor North America.
"We appreciate MAMA's recognition for helping educate current and new consumers about electric vehicle technologies and for voting the Hyundai IONIQ 6 a favorite among competitors."
"This year, the rally marked the second year of MAMA's Favorite Awards. Members chose winners from 90 vehicles in seven categories, including Favorite Family Vehicle, Luxury Vehicle, Plug-in, SUV, Performance, Truck and Affordable," said Robert Duffer, MAMA President. "As MAMA's favorite plug-in, the Hyundai IONIQ 6 never sat still at event driving and wowed the media with its technology and design."
