With a destructive force in its wake, it will cause some damage in Mexico on the Pacific Ocean side.
Although it is moving away from Mexican territory, “its cloud detachments reinforce the probability of very heavy rains to intense occasional rains in Jalisco, Colima, Michoacán and Guerrero,” warned the National Meteorological Service (SMN).
It also predicted wind with gusts of 40 to 60 kilometers and waves of 1 to 3 meters high on the coasts of Jalisco, Colima and Michoacán.
Its current location, according to Meteorological data, is 865 km south-southwest of Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur. Predictive models of its trajectory indicate that, as the days go by, it will move away from national coasts to enter the Pacific.
