Israel has bombed Gaza's main hospital, a Christian institution, and the strip's Health Ministry puts the number of victims at 500.

An Israeli airstrike on a hospital in central Gaza has caused a massacre this afternoon with hundreds of deaths, while the Israeli bombings on the Strip continue and many civilians take refuge in health centers to protect themselves from the bombs.

The Gaza Ministry of Health has put the death toll at 500. It is, therefore, the attack with the highest number of fatalities committed so far, since the war broke out on October 7 between the Palestinian militias of Gaza and Israel, which has resulted in more than 3,000 deaths in Gaza and 1,400 deaths in Israeli territory.

Specifically, the bombed hospital is the Ahli Arab Hospital, a Christian institution.

According to local sources, there were about 2,000 people in the health center who were taking refuge from the bombings after evacuating their homes in recent days, a dynamic that has been seen in most hospitals in the Strip.

The EFE agency has consulted the Israeli Army about the incident, and claims to be reviewing what happened.
