Hugh Hefner's widow exposes the darkest and most misogynistic secrets of the Playboy mansion
Crystal Hefnerthe widow of Hugh Hefnergave a lot to talk about a few days ago after revealing that he will tell the best kept and dark secrets of the famous mansion Playboy.
The 37-year-old woman, who was married to Hefner from 2012 to 2017, announced her memoir “Only Say Good Things: Surviving Playboy and Finding Myself”, in which she will speak at length about everything she experienced in the famous and controversial residence.
“It is a testament to the power of time, I process everything I have been through and accept my truth”, is how Crystal defines her book that will be released in 2024.
Although she has not provided further details about the content of her book, Fox News explained that she will talk about the great privileges she had in the mansion, but also about the nightmare she came to live when she was one of Hefner's many girlfriends.
“The “Girls Next Door” alum is said to offer a “raw, unflinching look at the objectification and misogyny of the Playboy Mansion” in her new memoir,” Fox News noted in an article about it.
How is the controversial Playboy mansion?
The emblematic house is located in the neighborhood of Holmby Hills and it was built in 1927, although it was not until 1974 that it passed into the hands of Hefner.
Hugh Hefner sold it, on August 16, 2016, for $100 million dollars, but it was not until his death that the house passed into the hands of tycoon Daren Metropoulos, as that was the agreement they reached to carry out the operation.
It has an extension of 14,217 square feetwith seven bedrooms, with seven full bathrooms and one half bathroom.
It also has a lobby, kitchen, dining room, living room, main room, games room, wine cellar, catering kitchen, cinema room, gym, among other rooms.
Outside, on his lot 5.02 acresthe imposing residence has extensive green areas, a game house, a tennis court, a guest house with four bedrooms, a resort-style pool with its respective spa area and a large cave-shaped grotto, among other amenities.
It is also one of the few residences in Los Angeles that is licensed to have its own zoo.
