Hispanic mom sexually trafficked her 6-year-old daughter for tennis shoes and cash

The girl was able to describe the abuse she faced at the hands of Harder, who set up a camera to record the sexual abuse.

A Washington state Latina woman sentenced to 23 years behind bars for sex trafficking her 6-year-old daughter to a pervert she met online in exchange for a pair of sneakers and cash.

Kylie Ruby Flores, a 31-year-old Spokane resident, sold her little girl to a man she met on the dating site ‘Plenty of Fish,’ who promised to pay with new Nike sneakers, “small amounts” of cash and a place to stayfederal prosecutors reported.

Flores and Trever Harder, who filmed himself raping the girl in her apartment, pleaded guilty.according to the US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Washington.

“The facts of this case present some of the most egregious sexual abuse of a child one can imagine,” US Attorney Vanessa Waldref said in a statement Wednesday after sentencing.

“Today’s sentence is important, but it’s equally important to remember that Flores’ sentence will likely be much shorter than the lifetime impact on the girl,” Waldref added.

“No sentence can restore the girl’s innocence, but our community is now safer and stronger.”

The depraved couple committed the abuse between February 2 and July 26 of last year, according to the original criminal indictment.

The girl was able to describe the abuse she faced at the hands of Harder, who set up a camera in a cat tree in her Cheney, Wash., apartment to record the disgusting attack on the girl on her couch, prosecutors said. Authorities later confiscated the video shot last July, according to prosecutors.

Harder is awaiting sentencing after his guilty plea, authorities said.

Prosecutors did not reveal the girl’s relationship to Flores, but the Spokesman-Review (Spokane) newspaper identified her as his daughter.

“Thanks to an effective and cooperative investigation, today she is not missing or murdered, but she is not the only girl in danger,” Waldref said.

“Today’s ruling sends a clear message to those seeking to sexually abuse children: justice is coming.”
