Now that Liga MX has already issued the sanction after the violent events that occurred at the Corregidora Stadium during the match between Querétaro and Atlas, all the games of the local Gallos Blancos team must be played behind closed doorsalthough there is the possibility that with the consent of the federation, they can move to another venue, for this reason, former soccer player Cuauhtémoc Blanco has already opened the doors of the state that he now governs.
In an interview for different media, Divo de Tepito said that will make an effort to move the Gallos Blancos to Zacatepec, a municipality of Morelos, where the Agustín Coruco Díaz stadium is located, the same one left vacant by the Cañeros (of the Liga de Ascenso MX) in 2020, when the franchise became Atlético Morelia.
“They will be welcome if they want to come here to Zacatepecwith great pleasure, they will be very well received here”, he commented.
The blue-cream idol announced that will talk to the new owner of the team to try to convince him to transfer to the Gallos Blancos.
“I will try to contact the owner of Querétaro right now (Jorge Alberto Hank Inzunza). I’m going to tell him to bring it here, because here is a spectacular hobby. Hopefully I can convince him,” she said.
And despite the fact that he spoke about the fans, it should be remembered that one of the measures that Liga MX took to sanction Querétaro was that it should play their home games behind closed doors, regardless of the square; although this could change if the franchise is sold sooner.
