A gringo was arrested by the National Guard at the Matamoros customsTamaulipas, when trying to enter a arsenal of bullets for 50 caliber machine gun.
The US citizen transported a total of 996 cartridgeswhich are widely used by members of organized crime to confront the authorities.
The National Guard reported that the capture occurred on the “General Ignacio Zaragoza” international bridge when he was driving a panel truck abroad on a journey of Texas to Tamaulipas.
