Green alert continues in ten Dominican provinces due to trough | News
The Emergency Operations Center (COE) of the Dominican Republic reported Tuesday that at least 10 provinces remain on green alert due to a trough.

Through its account on the social network Twitter, the entity specified that the provinces on yellow alert are: National District, Bahoruco, Azua, Independencia, Santiago, Santo Domingo, Pedernales, Dajabón, Barahona, Montecristi.
The COE issued alerts for possible flooding of rivers, streams and ravines, as a consequence of the downpours with electrical storms that are forecast.

For its part, the National Meteorological Office (Onamet) indicated that some local showers will be generated with isolated thunderstorms over the southwest, southeast and the Central Cordillera.
In addition, it is expected that for this Friday they will continue in the afternoon, so the occurrence of some local showers, between weak to moderate, is expected towards towns in the southwest, southeast and the Central Cordillera.
"A mostly sunny sky with a grayish appearance will predominate with slight cloudy increases over the country," Onamet said.
