Fukuoka 2023: Australia bate el récord mundial de los 4x200 libres femenil por casi 2 segundos
Australia rompió el récord mundial de los 4×200 libres femenil con un crono de 7:37.50, rebajando su propia plusmarca que estaba en 7:39.29 en casi dos segundos, en la quinta jornada del Campeonato Mundial de Natación Fukuoka 2023.
Mollie O’Callaghan, Shayna Jack, Brianna Throssell y Arianne Titmus lograron el nuevo récord con cuatro segundos de distancia sobre Estados Unidos.
Por el momento, los australianos han impuesto Cuatro de los cinco nuevos récords mundiales de Fukuoka 2023.
O’Callaghan y Jack ya batieron el récord de los 4×100 libre junto a Meg Harris y Emma McKeon con un crono de 3:27.96.
Titmus rompió la plusmarca universal en 400 metros libre (3:55.38) y O’Callaghan, el récord de 200 libre con 1:52.85.
El francés Leon Marchand logró el otro récord en los 400 metros estilos con 4:02.50.
