From being rejected at Real Betis to being part of El Tri: Gerardo Martino gave Diego Lainez a boost

The return of Diego Lainez, of the Spanish Real Betis, and of Gerardo Arteaga, from Belgian Genk, stood out in the list of the Mexican team to face Jamaica, Costa Rica and Panama, in the Concacaf World Cup qualifiers.
The Argentinian Gerardo Martino, coach of Mexico, revealed on Thursday the call for the three games in which The 'Tri' will seek to get closer to securing his ticket to the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Lainez has not played a game with Mexico since friendly duel against Panama on June 30 and Arteaga hasn't done it since the meeting of the June 12 against Honduras.
