After finishing the summit between the European Union and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac), Macron expressed that he supports the commitment of both regional initiatives in the field of security, as well as for the economic and social context.

Likewise, the French president confirmed having met with Prime Minister Ariel Henry.

However, the Henry government's request for the wintering of a multinational force to control insecurity has not yet been approved by the UN.

In fact, there are many international voices and within Haiti that have risen up against this solution, since they support the idea that Haitian problems must be solved from within.

The UN Security Council granted the secretary general of the entity some 30 days to prepare the report on the proposal for the deployment of a possible force in the Caribbean nation.
