Forum Asset Management hires Andrew J. Kavouras to lead its growth
Forum Asset Management Inc. and its subsidiaries ("Forum") announce the appointment of Andrew J. Kavouras as new CEO of Institutional Investments. In this role, Mr. Kavouras will lead Forum's expansion into various institutional markets around the world and will help Forum to achieve your growth objectives as a leading alternative asset manager based in Canada. Will report to Richard Abboud, Founder and CEO.
"Andrew is a proven asset management leader with global experience in both alternative and traditional investments, as well as sustainability/ESG investing," said Richard Abboud. "The Andrew's over 30 years of experience in the asset management sector They will undoubtedly be vital in Forum's growth trajectory. His work with institutional investors around the world will be an invaluable asset to Forum."
Kavouras joined Forum earlier this year working on a mission with the Forum team. He has provided advice on growth strategy, product capability, sustainable investing and real asset funds to various institutional investors in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, including Korea and Japan, as well as Australia.
He has held executive roles at subsidiaries of the National Australia Bank Group, Zurich-based RobecoSAM, Fidelity Investments and Caisse de Depot et Placement du Quebec. Andrew has a Master of Science from the University of London and a Bachelor of Economics from McGill University. He has also studied executive studies at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
