The final of the 2023 Copa Libertadores between Fluminense and Boca Juniors, which was played at the Maracaná in Rio de Janeiro, went to extra time, after 1-1 at the end of regulation time.
Fluminense took the lead with Germán Cano (m.36) and Luis Advíncula tied (m.72) for Boca Juniors.
For the first extra time, it was John Kennedy who appeared to return the victory to Fluminense and finally seal the Copa Libertadores title.
