FC Barcelona signs the Brazilian Vitor Roque until 2031
the brazilian striker Vitor Hugo Roque Ferreira18 years old, will play in the FC Barcelona until the 2030-31 season, after the agreement reached by the Barça club and the Paranaense Athletic Club for the player's transfer, reported the culé team in a statement.
Vitor Roque, who is expected to join the club in the 2024-25 season, signed a contract with Barça until June 30, 2031 and his termination clause will be 500 million euros.
Roque is a center forward, 1.72 meters tall, who stands out for his ability to associate, speed of movement and start and for his good relationship with the goal.
At just 18 years old, he already has almost 50 games in the Brazilian League. Six were with Cruzeiro, when he made his debut at the age of 16 in Serie B, the second division. A little over a year ago, Athletico Paranaense decided to bet on him to make the leap to Serie A and a Copa Libertadores team.
In addition, he captured the media attention earlier this year with the dispute of the South American sub-20 championship. As a striker and a key player in the Brazilian National Team, he helped the 'Canarinha' win the tournament and the new Barça player emerged, with six goals, being the top scorer in the youth tournament.
