F1: 'Pérez is not consistent, he is not always focused', Red Bull advisor

The former driver and current team advisor Red Bull in the Formula 1, Helmut Markohe acknowledged after Italian Grand Prix that the Mexican Sergio 'Checo' Pérez “he is not consistent” and “he is not always concentrated”, while he valued the British option Lando Norris as “definitely a candidate” to be a teammate Max Verstappen.
In statements published by the GP Blog and collected by the news agency Europa PressMarko referred to the age of the man from Guadalajara: “He is over 30 years old and is expecting his fourth child.” […] Therefore, he has other interests, so we have to see what happens next“, he specified about the future of the Mexican in the team.
'Checo', 33 years old, still has one year contract with the Austrian teambut the 'Bulls' advisor assures that we must bet on younger talent, among whom he has highlighted the British Lando Norriswhich has a contract with McLaren until 2025.
He is definitely a candidate for us.
“At Toro Rosso (now AlphaTauri) we had already reached an agreement with him at the time, until his manager realized that there was an option to go with McLaren. In terms of youth and speed, he would be very suitable for us“, he said about Norris.
However, Marko pointed out that to be Verstappen's teammate, who has a contract until 2028, you need "a very strong personality and mentality." […] On the one hand, the seat at Red Bull is one of the most sought afterbut on the other hand, you also have Max Verstappen as an opponent,” he concluded.
Last Sunday, at Autodromo Nazionale di Monza'Mad Max' and 'Checo' got the 1-2 in the race and they keep it in the Constructors' Championship, where Red Bull has been dominant, winning all the Great prizes so far this year.
With the victory, the Dutchman broke the historical mark for consecutive wins with 10 in the same season, surpassing the former Red Bull driver, the German Sebastian Vettel.
