English Lando Norris, from McLaren, was the fastest this Friday in practice 2 of the Grand Prix of the Netherlands, the thirteenth of the F1 World Cup; where the dutch max verstappenfrom Red Bull, outstanding leader of the championship, set the second time of a session in which his teammate, the Mexican Sergio Perezsigned the seventh.
Norris covered, in the best of his 29 laps, the 4,259 meters of the Dutch track in one minute, eleven seconds and 330 thousandths, only 23 less than Verstappen, who did 26 laps in front of his fans; in an essay in which the Thai Alex Alb贸nfor Williams, set the third time, like the previous ones, with the soft compound tyre.
Checo, second in the drivers' championship, 125 points behind Verstappen, finished seventh, staying, in the best of his 29 laps, 487 thousandths behind Norris; in a session interrupted for about a quarter of an hour, with a red flag, due to the almost consecutive accidents of the Australians Oscar Piastrifrom McLaren, and Daniel Ricciardofrom Alpha Tauri.
Fernando Alonso, third in the general table, 165 units behind 'Mad Max', signed the tenth time. The double world champion repeated the Dutch track 31 times and in his best attempt he was half a second behind Norris.
Free practice will be completed this Saturday, hours before qualifying, which will order the starting grid for Sunday's race, scheduled for 72 laps, to complete a 306.5-kilometre route.
