F1 celebrates Checo Pérez's birthday by remembering his first victory | Video
The Formula 1 celebrated on January 26 the 33rd birthday of Sergio Perez and recalled the first victory of the man from Guadalajara in the highest automobile category when he was still part of the Racing Point team.
On December 6, 2022, Checo got his first F1 win at the Sakhir Grand Prix and broke up with drought of 50 years without a Mexican driver winning a race, the last driver had been Pedro Rodríguez at the Belgian Grand Prix in 1970.
On the podium he was accompanied by the French Esteban Ocon, of Renault, and Pérez Mendoza's partner at the time, the canadian Lance Stroll.
After that December 6, 2020, Checo came to Red Bull where he has achieved his best campaign in F1 and with the Austrian team he won another three Grand Prix, Azerbaijan in the 2021 season and in the 2022 season Monaco and Singapore.
