La explosión ocurrida en una fábrica de material óptico y electrónico de Sérguiev Posad, a 75 kilómetros al norte de Moscú, dejó un saldo de 52 personas heridas, informó el Ministerio de Salud.

El organismo indica que tres víctimas fueron sacadas de los escombros en el lugar de la explosión. “Están hospitalizadas, su estado se evalúa como grave", indicó el organismo.

Del total, cinco están en cuidados intensivos y 17 están en el hospital. Mientras que varias fueron atendidas en el sitio, donde trabajan 23 equipos de ambulancia y un helicóptero.



Como resultado de la emergencia, resultaron dañados unos 20 edificios de apartamentos, dos escuelas, el complejo deportivo y una universidad.

Según el gobernador de la región, Andrei Vorobyov , el incidente ocurrió en un almacén de pirotecnia ubicado en el territorio de la Planta Óptica y Mecánica de Zagorsk.

Los servicios de emergencia informaron que este se produjo debido a una violación de los procesos tecnológicos. En ese sentido, el Comité Central de la Región de Moscú del Comité de Investigación abrió un caso penal por violación de los requisitos de seguridad industrial.

El jefe del distrito, Dmitry Akulov, asegura que todos los organismos pertinentes están laborando en el centro del suceso, el fuego ha sido contenido y se trabaja para limpiar los escombros.
