Justin Turner fue noticia en las redes sociales tras sufrir un escalofriante pelotazo en la cara durante el juego de los Medias Rojos de Boston ante los Tigres de Detroit. No obstante, tras un tiempo de preocupación, Kourtney Turner, esposa del jugador, habló en redes sociales y tranquilizó al revelar su situación.

Mediante a la red Twitter, la esposa de Turner reveló que ya estaban en casa, y que el jugador de los Medias Rojas tiene 16 puntos y mucha hinchazón tras el duro impacto que preocupó a todos los amantes del deporte.

“Gracias a todos los que se acercaron a Justin y enviaron oraciones. Estamos en casa ahora y él está descansando (bueno, tal vez escuchando la repetición del juego). 16 puntos y mucha hinchazón, pero estamos agradeciendo a Dios por no haber fracturas y escaneos limpios”, dice en un twitt la esposa de Turner.

¿Cómo sucedió el golpe de Justin Turner?

Durante el encuentro de Spring Training entre Boston y Tigres, Turner se encontraba en su turno cuando el pitcher intentó sorprenderlo con una gran recta, pero la pelota a la inicial le terminó impactando en el rostro al jugador de los Boston.

Como resultado, el veterano de 38 años terminó en el suelo, inmediatamente tras el golpe, y posteriormente se vio como es que los encargados de velar la salud de los jugadores ingresaron para así auxiliar a Turner.
