At least eight people died Tuesday in the Mexican town of Ciudad Juárez due to a fire in two houses in the city bordering the United States.

According to the Municipal Civil Protection Directorate, four adults and four minors died in the incident.
"The municipal Civil Protection Directorate, through the Fire Department, responded to 13 reports of fires that were registered in the last 24 hours in different parts of the city, in one of the events four adults and four minors died," detailed the source.
The fire was registered at 2:30 local time in a house located in the south of Ciudad Juárez, where firefighters arrived to attend to the inhabitants of the property.
After putting out the fire, firefighters found the eight completely charred bodies.
At the scene of the fire is a group of experts, who carry out the first investigations to determine the causes of the incident.
