Eating a sandwich on an airship more than 300 meters above Miami
Subway, the well-known fast food chain, has inaugurated a new initiative in Miami that seeks to offer a different gastronomic experience to its customers. The initiative, called “Subway in the Sky”consists of an airship that allows diners to enjoy their food at an altitude of approximately 304.8 meters above the city.

This project is part of the company's broader strategy to renew its menu, known as “Eat Fresh Refresh.” The airship, which measures approximately 180 feet in length, provides a unique space where customers can sample a selection of sandwiches while taking in panoramic views of Miami.
In this new space, diners can try the "Deli Hero" line, which includes a variety of sandwiches with fresh, quality ingredients. One of the outstanding products of this line is "The Beast", a sandwich that contains a combination of different meats and cheeses, accompanied by vegetables and dressings.
The airship has a limited capacity, allowing entry to six people per trip, which lasts 45 minutes. It is estimated that around 40 people will be able to enjoy this experience each day.

Orlando, Florida // September 19 and 20, 2023
For those in the Orlando region, this is your chance to experience high altitude travel. Registration will be available starting September 16, 2023, at 8 am Eastern Time.
Miami, Florida area // September 24-26, 2023
The experience arrives in the Miami region at the end of September. Registration will open on September 21, 2023, at 8 am Eastern Time.
The fast food chain has implemented a series of interactive activities to complement its new “Subway in the Sky” initiative in Miami. Individuals who wish to experience dining aboard the airship can make reservations through the company's official website.
