Due to Hurricane Otis, the Ministry of Welfare suspends activities and procedures
To safeguard the integrity of the priority population such as older adults, people with disabilities, girls and boys, the Ministry of Welfare reported the suspension of procedures and activities in the state of Guerrero due to the passage of Category 5 Hurricane Otis. And it also urged the population to stay informed to know when activities resume.
Secretary Ariadna Montiel Reyes said that “the beneficiaries and beneficiaries have nothing to worry about, activities are suspended until further notice; We just ask for a little patience for everyone's sake. "I call on citizens to heed the instructions of the authorities, as well as to stay informed through official means."
He also asked the population to be aware of the resumption of services, which he assured will be carried out as long as the authorities indicate that there is no risk for the population.
