El número de mercenarios en las filas ucranianas provenientes de países de América Latina y otras regiones ha aumentado en el transcurso del conflicto, según dieron a conocer este martes medios rusos.

El Ministerio de Defensa de Rusia ha señalado en varios informes que junto al Ejército ucraniano se contabilizan mercenarios de más de 80 países, entre los que resaltan nacionales de Argentina, Colombia, México y Ecuador.
De acuerdo con el medio ruso Sputnik, las fuerzas ucranianas recurren “activamente” al empleo de contratistas extranjeros por medio de las representaciones diplomáticas en el exterior.
En este sentido, la publicación precisa que Kiev contrata a personal extranjero con experiencia militar mientras ejemplificó que en Argentina solo fue escogido un selecto grupo de todos los que se presentaron.
No obstante, Moscú ha demostrado que, si bien los mercenarios tienen una elevada preparación, estos han sido eliminados por las tropas rusas, entretanto, los califica como “carne de cañón”.
“Los mercenarios extranjeros son usados por el régimen de Kiev como 'carne de cañón'. Nadie del mando ucraniano se preocupa por sus vidas. Por lo tanto, solo tienen dos opciones: huir de Ucrania o morir”, expresó el organismo castrense.
Un video difundido en redes sociales evidencia como un grupo de mercenarios colombianos denuncian los maltratos a los que han sido sometidos por parte del Ejército ucraniano.
"Mucha humillación. Por eso es que se va la gente, tanta humillación", comentó uno de los mercenarios, quienes han sido reprimidos con gases lacrimógenos por manifestar sus quejas.
