Cuétara sees himself as a favorite against Balonmano Nava, but warns of the danger of overconfidence
Irún (Guipúzcoa), Oct 19 (EFE).- The Bidasoa Irun coach, Jacobo Cuétara, considers that his team is a favorite against the recently promoted Balonmano Nava, although he warned of the danger of overconfidence.
"Last year, for example, we beat Balonmano Sinfin by 20 goals at our home and then we lost on their field," the Bidasotarra coach recalled this Thursday at the Artaleku sports center, who stressed that "the performance of the last few games is not worth it" for guarantee the points that are about to be disputed.
"We are favorites for playing at home, also for going second and for the state we are in, but we have to play good handball if we want to beat Nava," warned the Asturian coach of Bidasoa Irun.
His plan to achieve the sixth victory in seven games - the other ended in a draw against Barcelona - involves "being focused, preparing the game well and having the support of the fans, who with the progress of the team we all hope will support to the fullest." .
He valued the good start to the season of his next rival, a Viveros Herol Balonmano Nava team that "has its complexity like all the rivals in an equal Asobal league," and prepares its players to face a clash that can move in tight scores.
"The game may be tight until the end and we have to make sure that doesn't happen, but if it happens we must also know how to take the points," Cuétara concluded. EFE
