Cuban Foreign Minister applauds solidarity against the US blockade | News
The Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno RodrĂguez, expressed this Sunday his satisfaction for the resumption of the caravans abroad that denounce the negative effects of the blockade applied by the United States (USA) against the island for more than 60 years.

"With renewed energy and inspired by MartĂ's ideals, supportive friends and Cubans residing abroad will resume the caravans and Bridges of Love this 2023 to denounce the deficiencies and suffering caused by the blockade to Cuban families," wrote the minister of Foreign Affairs on his official Twitter account.
The Cuban Foreign Ministry also applauded the popular rallies on the same social network, expressing that “today the world once again demands the end of the blockade against Cuba. Bridges of love and solidarity are built against this genocidal policy”.

This weekend there were demonstrations in more than 20 US cities by friends of the largest of the Antilles to demand an end to the unilateral coercive measures implemented by the US authorities.
Expressions of solidarity with Cuba were also repeated in cities in Europe and in several Latin American countries.
In statements to the Cuban media, Carlos Lazo coordinator of the project called Bridges of Love,
said that the concentrations this Sunday in the US seek to achieve contributions for pediatric hospitals in the Caribbean nation
Likewise, another objective is to demand that US President Joe Biden remove Cuba from the list of alleged state sponsors of terrorism.
According to data from the Caribbean island's foreign ministry, the losses caused by the blockade totaled 3,806 million dollars in the period between August 2021 and February 2022.
