Cuba sends condolences to Somalia after damage by rains | News
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, sent his condolences to the people and Government of Somalia on Tuesday for the effects caused by the rains and floods that have occurred in the country.

"Heartfelt condolences to the people and government of Somalia for the loss of life and the numerous damages caused by the heavy rains and flash floods," he said in a message on his Twitter account.
In addition, he shared an image of one of the affected areas as a result of heavy rains.

According to a statement from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), at least 23 deaths have been reported in the African nation, including six minors, as a result of the floods and overflow of rivers before the beginning of the rainy season.
Nearly 100,000 people have been affected, of whom some 78,000 are in Baardheere district, Jubaland state, where some 9,000 houses were destroyed or damaged.
OCHA has also detailed that the floods destroyed six medical centers and four educational centers, leaving more than 3,000 children without classes.
