During the last few hours, the coverage of electricity in the country has increased, with the entry into generation of several power plants, which were out of service after the passage of Ian.
Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador announced the sending of aid in the face of the damage caused by Ian, a category 3 hurricane, and ratified his solidarity with the island.
In this way, on Wednesday during his morning conference, the president transmitted "a hug to all the Cubans on the island and I hope they come out well because the hurricane hit them and affected their electrical energy system, I am sure they will come out ahead".
In the same sense, Mexican deputies and senators spoke in a letter sent to their Cuban counterparts in the National Assembly.
Recently, during the great fire at the supertanker base in Matanzas, Mexico also offered and sent emergency aid.
