¿Cristiano Ronaldo vuelve a la Champions League? Campeón de Arabia Saudita tendría chance de jugarla

México.-La Liga de Arabia Saudita empezó su embate para conquistar el futbol comprando a jugadores como Cristiano Ronaldo, y ahora quiere que su campeón compita en la Champions League.
Las figuras de talla mundial son cada vez más frecuentes en la Liga de Arabia Saudita, el más reciente es el brasileño Neymar, quien se une a Cristiano Ronaldo y Karim Benzema.
La ambición, y sobre todo, los recursos económicos que tiene la Liga de Arabia Saudita no conocen límites, tanto así que están dispuestos a retar a los equipos que disputan la Champions League.
Según algunos reportes, la Saudi Pro League ha enviado una solicitud y propuesta de unirse a la UEFA Champions League, pues se sienten capaces de competir en ese nivel.

Los árabes quieren darle un premio de este tamaño a su equipo campeón, con lo que jugadores como Cristiano Ronaldo podría volver a disputar la ‘Orejona’.
La Liga de Arabia Saudita ya formuló una solicitud a la UEFA de una carta comodín que será disputada por 36 equipos a partir de la temporada 2024-2025.
La posibilidad de ver a Cristiano Ronaldo y compañía en la Champions League generó reacciones de todo tipo entre los fans del futbol mundial: “Sinceramente ojalá se dé, todo por el espectáculo”, valoró uno.
Otros no estuvieron de acuerdo, diciendo que con decisiones de este tipo se muere el futbol “¿No te gustaría la posibilidad de ver a Cris, Benzema y Neymar competir en Champions?” Saquemos cosas buenas de lo malo”, les respondieron.
También surgió una atractiva propuesta. “Que participen como una selección de la liga en la Champions, sería innovador”.
Lo cierto es que esta opción no suena nada rara, dada la globalización del futbol. “Si están pidiendo que el Inter Miami ingrese a la Libertadores, que la liga de Arabia Saudita ingrese a la Champions League sería bueno”, reflexionó otro seguidor.
Sin embargo, no faltó el que minimizó el nivel de los equipos de Arabia Saudita, “serán tipo Slavia Praga o Young Boys, pan comido para los gigantes europeos”.
Uno fue más fue contundente. “A la UEFA lo que es de la UEFA, no tiene sentido incluirlos, que inventen otra copa pero no toquen lo que ya funciona”.
La realidad es que hay mucho dinero en juego, y los árabes no descansarán hasta conseguir su objetivo de jugar la Champions League.
