The Secretariat of Security, Prevention and Citizen Protection of Lion announced that recovered nine of the 10 vehicles stolen from a Volvo agency in said municipality in the state of Guanajuato.

The events occurred around 10:28 a.m. on Sunday, October 29, when a Armed group arrived at the branch, located at the intersection of Juan Alonso Torres and Paseos del Moral boulevards, in the Villas del Juncal neighborhood, where they took 10 semi-new cars that were on display outside the agency.
The automotive agency is a few meters from Plaza Las Palmas and Plaza Mayor, one of the most important commercial areas of the city.

Once the subjects fled the scene, the guard notified the authorities and elements of the police of the robbery. municipal policel and the National Guard deployed an operation.

The León Security Secretariat monitored the cameras of the Computing, Command, Communications and Control Center (C4), while the Preventive Police and the Road Police carried out ground search operations.
Hours later, it was announced that nine of the 10 stolen vehicles were located within a store located on the borders of Francisco del Rincón and León, although no arrests have been reported so far.
The place was secured by the State Attorney General's Office (FGE) of Guanajuato, whose agents will continue the investigations to find those responsible for the robbery.
