Colorado Man Shot and Calls for Medical Help 20 Hours Later!
An unidentified man was shot in the leg while in the area of East Colfax Avenue early Sunday morning and went to a hospital for care about 20 hours after the shooting, according to police.
The arrival of the man at the hospital to seek medical help on Sunday night, around 9:30 pm, put the police on alert.
The man said he was shot while in the area of Beeler Street and East Colfax Avenue around 1:30 a.m. Sunday. Police said there is no information on the suspect and the shooting victim is expected to survive his injury. No other details have been revealed.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Metro Denver at 720-913-7867. Informants will remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
