"The Attorney General's Office presented before a guarantee control judge a request for an arrest warrant against Diego Javier Cadena Ramírez, to comply with what was ordered by the 43rd judge of knowledge on December 1 of the previous year who revoked the freedom of the defendant due to the expiration of terms,” said the body.
This instance indicated that the request, which is renewed, is due to a trip made by Cadena to Panama, in breach of the house arrest measure that had been issued on December 21.
The Attorney General's Office had requested the selective search in the database to Migration Colombia on Chain, and with it made the request official before the judge to order the arrest of the lawyer.
Cadena is prosecuted for bribery in criminal proceedings and procedural fraud within the process that is being carried out for the alleged manipulation of witnesses, in order to benefit former senator Álvaro Uribe.
