Coldplay would perform Juan Gabriel’s song in concerts in Mexico

Mexico.-The British group Coldplay is preparing a song by Juan Gabriel, which they could perform at the concerts they have scheduled in Mexico.

It was in an interview for the television station ‘Imagen’ where Chris Martin, vocalist Coldplay spoke about his next presentations in the Mexican capital.

Undoubtedly, the group is characterized by pleasing their audience and this time was no exception, as they revealed that they plan to sing in Spanish.

Let’s remember that in the Dominican Republic they performed the song ‘Bachata rosa’ by the famous Dominican Juan Luis Guerra.

After being questioned about the possibility of a similar surprise, they declared: “On some nights, maybe not on all but maybe on some.”

Likewise, Chris Martin of Coldplay stated that it is most likely a Juan Gabriel song.

“From Juan Gabriel… Juan Gabriel is very hard,” said the singer.

The Coldplay frontman explained that it takes time to learn a song in Spanish, so he may not pay tribute to Juan Gabriel at every show in Mexico.

“I’m very nervous to sing in Spanish, so I have to practice so much for each song, so some nights it’s not possible,” he said.

Likewise, the group appeared on social networks performing ‘Rayando el sol’ by Mannaso they could also interpret that theme.

When will the Coldplay concerts be where they will sing Juan Gabriel’s theme?

Coldplay caused a stir by revealing that they will probably sing a song by Juan Gabriel in some of the shows they will offer in Mexico.

The band is already in the country and offered two shows in Monterrey on March 25 and 26, however, they will still offer six more concerts.

These are the concerts that Coldplay will offer in Mexico:

  • Guadalajara – March 29 and 30
  • Mexico City – April 3, 4, 6 and 7

Later they will continue their tour of the United States.

Coldplay’s first US dates are at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California on April 26 and 30.

On the other hand, it should be noted that it is Carla Morrison who will be in charge of opening each of the Coldplay presentations in Mexico.
