Claudia Sheinbaum receives support from former high-performance athletes in her presidential candidacy for 2024
The candidate of Brunette to search for the presidency of Mexico in the 2024 elections, Claudia Sheinbaum, continues to add support in his race towards the electoral race. This time, three prominent former high-performance athletes have expressed their support for his candidacy during their visit to Tepic, Nayarit, the athletes' home state.
The first to make his support public was the exclavadista Rommel Pacheco, who made himself known through social networks with an emotional message on his Twitter account. “Ready for what's coming.
Thank you very much Dr. Sheinbaum for making us part of this project,” wrote the Yucatecan athlete. In response, the former head of Government of CDMX expressed her gratitude, stating that it was an “honor and privilege” to have the athlete in her political project and highlighting the growth of the transformation movement in Yucatán.

During the event in Tepic, Gustavo Ayonrenowned Mexican former basketball player, and Ramon Ramirez, former prominent soccer player, also expressed their support for the candidacy. Both athletes signed the “Agreement for the Unity of Transformation” in a gesture of commitment to the candidate's vision.
Ramon Ramirez, who trained in the ranks of the Coras de Tepic, had an outstanding career in Mexican soccer, playing for teams like Santos and Chivas. In addition, he represented Mexico in international competitions such as the 1993 Copa América, the 1994 World Cup in the United States and the 1999 Confederations Cup.
For its part, Gustavo Ayon achieved notoriety in the world of basketball, reaching the NBA and being part of teams like New Orleans Pelicans, Orlando Magic, Milwaukee Bucks and Atlanta Hawks. In the Spanish league, Ayón played for real Madridwhere he won more than 7 titles and became a benchmark for Mexican sports on the international stage.
