Citizen Movement deputies demand impeachment of the interim governor of Nuevo León
The coordinator of the deputies of Citizen Movement, Jorge Álvarez Maynezpresented the request for impeachment against Arturo Salinas, president of the Judiciary of New Lionfor usurpation of functions, illegal attribution of his powers and having violated the Constitution for having been elected as interim governor without the absence of Samuel Garcia.
The leader of the federal deputies of Citizen movement was presented at the General Secretariat of the Chamber of Deputies to request impeachment, after the CCongress of Nuevo León elect Arturo Salinas as interim governor, after the governor's request for leave Samuel Garcia.
“The PRI and the PAN in the Nuevo León Congress carry out a very serious act. Yesterday, without the absence of the governor, the protest was taken against a supposed interim governor who was elected by the Congress of Nuevo León without observing the constitutional and legal requirements: in no way can he be the president of the Judicial Branch and head of the Executive Branch. The Political Constitution and the Constitution of Nuevo León prohibit holders of one power from presiding over others,” he argued.
Álvarez Máynez argued that the president of the Judiciary of Nuevo León cannot head two branches at the same time (Judicial and Executive). The emecista maintained that he did not present his resignation from the state Judiciary, but rather a license, which allows him to return to his charge after 6 months.
He criticized that Arturo Salinas It has demonstrated partisan interest, bias in its resolutions and cannot allow itself to be the “vulture coups that are happening in Nuevo León.”
The deputy assured that García's license would come into effect until December 2 to fulfill the period established in the Constitution to be a presidential candidate. He described it as a “very serious violation of the Constitution” to put two powers in one person. He highlighted that the only governor is Samuel García and there is no vacuum.
“There is no vacuum, Nuevo León has a constitutional governor, legitimately elected at the polls by the majority of the citizens of Nuevo León and the PRI and the PAN cannot abrogate the right to appropriate a governorship, much less to put it in office. in the hands of whoever presides over the Judiciary,” he said.
PRI and PAN have no ethical limits. In the midst of a tragedy, they called a session to carry out a coup d'état in Nuevo León.
While @samuel_garcias He is still in office and is a constitutional governor, they appointed and “taken oath” someone who is legally prevented.
