This technological innovation, promoted by the head of Government, Marti Batres Guadarrama, represents a link between technology and public transportation, with the intention of strengthening the right to mobility in the city.
The application provides users with a tool to route more efficiently, reduce travel times, identify obstacles and avoid inconveniences in real time.
The Secretary of Mobility (Semovi), Andrés Lajous, stressed the importance of providing users the certainty of your trips on public transport. When users are preparing to leave their homes, they want to have accurate information about the duration of their trip and the most convenient transportation option to reach their destination on time.
The application meets these needs by providing information in real timeallowing users to make informed decisions for their trips.

One of the highlights of this application is its ability to notify users about possible delays or interruptions in public transport services.
For example, recently, during a rainy afternoon, the app informed users about a slowdown in speed. Metro Line 3 due to weather conditions. This real-time information allowed users to plan their trips more effectively and avoid inconveniences.
José Antonio Peña Merino, head of the Digital Agency for Public Innovation, indicated that this application was developed in collaboration with Semovi to offer a unique solution that is not available on other platforms, such as Google Maps, to which all citizens turn.
Despite the popularity of Google Mapsthe new application focuses on providing specific and detailed information about public transportation services in Mexico City.
The application Mobility Module Integrated is part of a broader effort to improve the mobility and quality of life of the residents of the Mexico City. Since its launch in 2019, the app has seen significant growth, with 5.4 million downloads and 1.1 million active users each month.
In addition, around 3,200 new users are added daily, making it the most popular local government application in Mexico and possibly in all of Latin America, with more users and uses.
Among the most used services of the application are Digital Documents, which allows users to process digital licenses and circulation cards. Also included are Urban Reports, My Taxi, Chat Locatel and BOtto of HelpHome Alarm.
The application also offers a function to “Lock your cell phone” in case of theft or loss. In addition, the service of “Digital Complaint” in collaboration with the Prosecutor's Office for non-violent crimes.

In addition to its focus on mobility and public transportation, the application also offers the most complete cultural guide to the city through the “Billboard” service. It allows users to contact police officers from the city's security quadrants through “My Police”.
In addition, it provides general information about services, such as climatethe program Today does not circulate and ultraviolet ray levels, among others.
The Semovi, or Ministry of Mobility of the Federal District, was established in 1997 with the purpose of regulating and controlling urban transportation in Mexico City. Since then, it has worked to improve the mobility of citizens without affecting city traffic.
Their responsibilities include the development and maintenance of the comprehensive transportation and road program of the city, the authorization of rates and the regulation of traffic rules.
