The aspirants to the presidency of Mexico for the ruling party Movimiento de RegeneraciĂłn Nacional (Morena) will begin their political tours on Monday towards the definition of the candidate for next year's elections.

The former head of the Government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum, the former Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard, the former Secretary of the Interior, Adán Augusto López, and the licensed senator and coordinator of Morena in the Senate, Ricardo monreal.

The movement founded by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador in 2011 and recognized as a party in 2014, will participate in the 2024 presidential elections in alliance with the Labor (PT) and Green Ecologist of Mexico (PVEM) parties.

For these political forces, the licensed deputy Gerardo Fernández, for the PT, and the licensed senator Manuel Velasco, of the PVEM, were listed as pre-candidates.

They all seek to succeed President LĂłpez Obrador, who began his term in 2118, and continue with his government project called the "fourth transformation."

Some applicants will begin tours of central and southern Mexico. The schedules of several applicants have not been revealed by their teams and some have declared that the places where they will start their tours will be surprising.

On the other hand, some have already defined their first steps through the Mexican territory, such as Sheinbaum, who will visit the state of Oaxaca and plans to start at the Fountain of the Eight Regions and reach the public square in the city of Oaxaca, in the South of Mexico.

In this same entity, the militant of the PT, Fernández, will present himself, who will be signing books in the zócalo of the capital of the Mexican state of Oaxaca.

The former Secretary of the Interior, LĂłpez, will visit Puerto Vallarta, in the central state of Jalisco. In addition, he will meet with businessmen, will attend the Autonomous University of Guadalajara and will have an event in a public square of the entity.

The former coordinator of the Morena parliamentary bench, Monreal, indicated that he will begin his work in the Cuauhtémoc mayor's office, in Mexico City.

Former Foreign Minister Ebrard indicated on his social networks that the start of his tour of the country will take place in a surprising place. The also ex-governor of Chiapas, Velasco, has not made public the place where his political strategy will start.

President LĂłpez Obrador promised that he will not intervene in the election of the presidential candidate of his Morena party. "There will be no finger," declared the president during his morning press conference.
