La Confederación Sudamericana de Fútbol (Conmebol) informó que Bogotá y Cali, Colombia, serán sedes de la Copa Libertadores femenina.

Los terrenos elegidos para albergar los juegos serán el Metropolitano de Techo y el Pascual Guerrero.
Se enfrentarán 16 equipos en 32 partidos que iniciarán con una fase de cuatro grupos y clasificarán a cuartos los dos mejores de cada apartado.
Hasta el momento, hay 12 equipos confirmados a la espera de que se definan los represententantes de Venezuela, Bolivia, Ecuador y Perú.
La lid se efectuará entre los días 5 de octubre y el 21 de ese mismo mes.
En estos momentos, el mundo celebra la principal competición femenina de selecciones la Copa del Mundo, lid de la que se está disputando la fase de cuartos de final.
