Buffalo grocery store shooting leaves at least 10 dead


At least ten people dead and three more wounded is the balance to date of a shooting occurred in a supermarket in the US town of buffaloin New York.

According to a brief message from Police department of the city, the shooting took place in the Supermarket Topsnear downtown Buffalo, a city located in the far north of the state of New Yorkin addition to pointing out that the attacker has already been arrested.

“Several people have been hit by gunshots. The shooter is in custody,” police wrote in a Twitter message without providing details on his number or status.

The identity of the detained suspect was not offered either, however, witnesses detailed to local media that the aggressor was a white man and had military-style clothing. It is unknown if he offered a reason for the massacre.

Local media such as The Buffalo News detail at least ten fatalities and three people injured, two of them seriously.

It was detailed that the aggressor was secured a small camera, which presumes that he recorded the moments in which he committed the massacre in the supermarket.

The Governor of New York, Kathy Hochulwrote a tweet assuring that he is closely following what happened and that he has offered support to local forces.

However, the official did not give further details. According to a witness quoted by channel ABC7, between 20 and 30 shots were heard.
