In the first half, both squads did not hurt each other despite repeated Brazilian attacks. The iron defense of the Serbian team did not allow the Canarinha to score a goal.

Brazil, with balls and some plays, tried to reach the opposite goal, but no action was possible with the Serbian team closed behind.

In the second half, the Brazilian team went out to look for the victory and at minute 62, with a play by Neymar, Richarlison scored the first goal.

However, Serbia did not give up and withstood the onslaught of the Brazilians. At minute 73, Richarlison again, with a scissor goal, scored the second goal of the game that would consolidate his team’s victory.

In the remaining time, the few and unsuccessful attacks by Serbia were not enough to discount, while Brazil kept up the teamwork to look for the third goal, but failed to do so.

On November 28, the Brazilian team will face Switzerland, as the star match of Group G, both trying to qualify for the round of 16.

For their part, Cameroon and Serbia will meet on the field to maintain their hopes of advancing in the tournament.
