Brazil and Uruguay start with victory in World Cup qualifiers

The national soccer teams of Brazil and Uruguay were victorious this Friday by convincing results in two matches belonging to the first day of the regional qualifier for the 2026 World Cup.

Uruguay easily defeated a Chile 3-1 that is still very far from that red one that competed and ended up being two-time champions of America.

The second day of the region's qualifier will be on September 12, in which Bolivia will host Argentina, Ecuador will host Uruguay, Venezuela will host Paraguay, Chile will host Colombia, and Peru will host Brazil.
