In front of the monument to the Liberator, located in El Prado in the city of La Paz, an event organized by the Venezuelan Embassy in Bolivia took place, which was attended by representatives of international organizations and national authorities, among other personalities.

“On the day of his birth we paid homage to him; And the Bolivian people have nothing left but to reaffirm the Bolivarian commitment to maintain and preserve the sovereignty of our nation, to fight and work tirelessly to consolidate our freedom, no longer from a Spanish colony, but from imperialism and hegemony, and work to consolidate economic and technological freedom”, said Rogelio Mayta.

The Bolivian diplomacy leader stated that Bolívar's legacy is still alive, for which the peoples of America reaffirm their commitment to continue the dream of freedom.

"I bring you the greeting, the tribute of President Luis Arce to the Liberator Simón Bolívar, the tribute of all the Bolivian people," Mayta asserted.

Likewise, he made reference to Bolívar's lucidity and intelligence in conceiving America as a Great Homeland to achieve better days for the people, boost economies, consolidate unity to be stronger in the face of any foreign influence or aggression and, ultimately, consolidate freedom.
