A Virginia man blamed his wife for a loaded gun that was found in her carry-on bag last Thursday by security officials at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) said Friday. . The .22 caliber pistol was loaded with five bullets. William Buchholz, 70, "blamed his wife and told officers that she packed her carry-on bag and he didn't know she had her gun loaded inside her," the TSA said. Police confiscated the gun and charged Buchholz with state charges. The gun was located as the man entered the security checkpoint at Reagan National Airport. The X-ray unit alerted the TSA to inspect the carry-on bag, which was opened by police and where the discovery was made.
