The governor of Guerrero, Evelyn Salgado, announced that in coordination with the private sector they will put into operation some branches of said banks to provide service to the inhabitants of Acapulco.

What bank branches will operate again in Acapulco?

The branches of Santander, Citibanamex and BBVA that will resume operations this week after the passage of Hurricane Otis are located in:

Av. Costera Miguel Alemán 51, Golf Club

Opening hours: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

In the case of BBVA, ATM operations at five branches will resume. According to Governor Evelyn Salgado, this represents 50% of the ATMs available in Acapulco.

Bancoppel will defer payments

Given the effects of the hurricane Otis and after negotiations between the government of Guerrero and the private sector, Bancoppel will defer payments for all credit card and loan products to natural persons for three months.

“I want to express my gratitude for the support and commitment of the businessmen and commercial groups who have demonstrated their total willingness to make Acapulco shine from the first moment,” highlighted the governor of Guerrero.

Walmart, Sams Club and Soriana will reopen in Acapulco

As part of the recovery in the economic sector, Walmart, Sams Club and Soriana stores will operate again in Acapulco within a period of 10 to 15 days after working meetings with the representatives of said commercial chains.

As part of the agreements, these stores will be guarded by the Guerrero Security Secretariat and by elements of the National Guard, who they took control of security in Acapulco to prevent theft and looting.
