Banco Ciudad opened a new branch in the Mugica neighborhood of Retiro

Banco Ciudad inaugurated a new branch in the Padre Carlos Mugica neighborhood, also known as Barrio 31 de Retiro.
The objective, according to the Buenos Aires entity said in a statement, is to “accompany the neighbors more closely, through personalized attention, banking services and accessible and quality financial products.”
The new service space is located at 750 Carlos Perette Street, in front of the Ministry of Education building of the City of Buenos Aires.

Gabriel Mraida, Minister of Human Development and Habitat of Buenos Aires, said: “The arrival of Banco Ciudad crowns a process of transformation of the neighborhood that began a long time ago, when we began to open streets so that ambulances and patrol cars could arrive. Since then, we have come a long way of works and improvements with the goal that all residents can be full citizens. "The opening of a Banco Ciudad branch in a neighborhood where many residents do not have access to financial services is one more step in building a community with equal opportunities for all its members."
Banco Ciudad in Barrio 31 provides banking services to more than three thousand residents who are already clients, and to all its neighbors, bringing its proposals for financial services, banking of cooperatives, financial education workshops and banking in NGOs, schools and cultural spaces. of the neighborhood.
As explained, the new branch is developed on an area of about 100 m2 intended for service, through a lobby with 3 ATMs and with the provision of personalized service stations for commercial and/or credit procedures. Neighbors can access the entire wide range of products and services.
“The presence of Banco Ciudad in vulnerable areas is part of the strategic axes of the institution as a public bank, which focus on banking access and financial inclusion. From the entity, this social and development role is addressed from three dimensions: financial education, credit assistance to microentrepreneurs and presence in vulnerable areas; serving the youth, retirees, base of the pyramid and vulnerable population segments.
