At least two killed by rifle shots in the center of Brussels

In a video recorded by a witness, which is circulating on networks, a man is seen arriving alone on a motorcycle, throws it to the ground and begins to quickly shoot people in the street in the center of Brussels.

Two people have died in a shooting this Monday afternoon in the center of Brussels, according to Belgian police. Some media outlets have aired amateur videos showing a man shooting several times near a station using a large gun. The two victims were apparently Swedish.

In these videos, the alleged attacker can be seen getting off a motorcycle and, later, he begins to shoot at passers-by. According to the first information, he had fled.

Tonight a Brussels-Sweden match is played, qualifying for the Euro Cup. The match has to be played at the Heysel stadium, about 5 kilometers away from the scene of the shooting. Police spokeswoman Ilse Vande Keere said officers arrived at the scene early and cordoned off the immediate neighborhood.

However, the police force has refused to provide more details about the circumstances of the shooting.
