There are 3 Mexicans missing after the Israel-Palestine conflict; will send second flight

After the outbreak of the conflict between Israel and Palestine, there is a report of three missing Mexicans and they are already in communication with their families and the search is underwayreported President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who added that around 300 compatriots have asked for help to leave, mainly from Israeli territory.

The president added that This afternoon a second flight will depart by Sedena to repatriate stranded Mexicans due to the conflict and detailed that there are around 5,000 Mexicans in Israel, many of them who traveled to that country for tourism reasons, mainly to visit religious sites.

Governor of Oaxaca hands over the presidency of Conago to the president of Yucatán

The governor of Oaxaca, Salomón Jara, handed over the presidency of the National Conference of Governors (Conago) to the president of Yucatán, Mauricio Vila, who thanked his colleagues and President Andrés Manuel López Obrador for their trust and said he was committed to continuing with work, promote coordination and infrastructure projects, in addition to offering the Chief Executive that he will have support.

When handing over Conago, Salomón Jara said that the organization was renewed and strengthened thanks to the “maturity and good faith of everyone” and is now focused on three objectives:

  1. Contribute to strengthening the relationship between entities and the federal government
  2. Promote the exchange of successful experiences in public policies
  3. Actions in favor of the transformation and well-being of Mexico
