The United States Automobile Association (USA) warned on Tuesday that the prices of oil derivatives in the country reached an average of 4,173 dollars per gallon, the highest tax since 2008.

According to the Association, the oil price index in the country has risen in recent days due to the conflict between the two European nations, Russia and Ukraine, due to fears of a reduction in supply.
Likewise, in other states of the country such as California, the average rate is 5,288 dollars, for a gallon of 3.79 liters; while in the state of Utah, the price marks 3,831 dollars per gallon.
Given the situation, the Automobile Association in coordination with a national company Gasbuddy, designed an application that enables drivers to know the main cheapest points where they can access fuel.
In this sense, the application allows access to a local map where the public can consult the open gas stations, the opening hours; as well as product availability.
It should be noted that the situation is a cause for concern for the country's statistical companies, since it may influence the US inflation rate, after registering 7.5 percent last week, a figure not reported for decades. .
